Rikke Lie Halberg
Rikke Lie Halberg is a PhD student in history and now works at Arbejdermuseet in Copenhagen. Halberg researches at the intersection between colonial history, gender history, and labor history. The upcoming doctoral thesis is entitled Fireburn: Rebellion, Representation and Remembrance 1878-2018 and centers on the traces and the representation of rebellion in what was then the colony of the Danish West Indies.
Together with the Centre for Oresund Region Studies, Rikke Lie Halberg has arranged the conference Gazes and hands on public art: a kaleidoscopic theme day (clicking the link will take you to the Swedish website). Halberg is, together with Johanna Rivano Eckerdal and Hans Dam Christensen, the editor of an upcoming anthology based on the conference. The anthology will be published in the Centre for Oresund Region Studies' book series.
